The Europa STB504025A IP66 epoxy coated steel enclosure offers 400 x 500 x 250 mm of protected space for switchgear and control gear where plastic simply will not take the knocks.

Typical applications

Europa does not recommend the STB range outdoors; for exposed or corrosive sites, use the stainless SSTB range.
Compliance
Rated IP66 to EN 60529: no dust ingress, and protection against powerful water jets from any direction. The rating only holds if glands, cut-outs and the door seal are made off correctly, and Europa asks that cut surfaces are treated and swarf removed.
