The Europa 600 x 800 x 260 mm IP65 insulated ABS enclosure is a practical, lightweight home for control and distribution gear in indoor and sheltered positions. The moulded ABS body is non-conductive, so there is no enclosure bonding to maintain and no paint to chip and rust, and at IP65 it is dust-tight and stands up to a hose-down. The supplied back plate means you can start laying out gear straight away. Inside there is room for a full distribution or motor control assembly with space for segregation and cable management.

Typical applications
At 600 x 800 x 260 mm the usual duties are main distribution and motor control on process plant, water and wastewater sites, and large machine control panels in damp or corrosive production areas. Insulated ABS is the sensible choice indoors and in sheltered positions where a steel enclosure would be heavier, need bonding and eventually corrode.
Compliance
IP65, as defined by the IP code in BS EN 60529, means dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction: dusty production areas and routine hose-down cleaning. The rating applies to a correctly closed enclosure, so cable entries should be made with glands of an equal or better rating.
