The Europa 240 x 320 x 135 mm IP67 insulated adaptable box is the workhorse junction and marshalling box for wet and dirty positions. IP67 is a step beyond the usual splash-proof box: dust-tight, and protected against temporary immersion, which is what you want where water pools or a box sits low on a plant skid. The moulded insulated body is non-conductive, so there is no bonding to maintain and nothing to rust. Inside there is room for a mid-size junction or control layout, with space for a DIN rail and terminals.

Typical applications
Used for distribution junction boxes on external plant, machine marshalling, and control stations on irrigation, water and grounds-maintenance equipment. Boxes at this rating are specified where a splash-proof box would not survive: low-level positions that flood, washdown areas, exposed outdoor plant, and temporary or site supplies.
Compliance
IP67, as defined by the IP code in BS EN 60529, means dust-tight and protected against the effects of temporary immersion in water - a meaningful step up from IP65 for anything mounted low down, in a bund, or hosed rather than wiped. The rating depends on the lid being correctly fitted and on glands of an equal or better rating.
