The Europa 160A 3-pole + neutral link switch-disconnector gives panel builders a ready-made, door-interlocked isolation point for mid-range plant, supplied complete in an IP66 GRP enclosure.

Typical applications
GRP is the material of choice for damp, dirty and chemically aggressive sites: water and wastewater treatment, pumping stations, car washes, swimming pool plant, agriculture, quarrying and outdoor process areas. It does not rust, needs very little maintenance, and the IP66 rating means it copes with powerful hose-down as well as dust. 160 A is the usual entry point for a substantial motor or a small sub-distribution board. A bolted neutral link takes the neutral straight through while the handle breaks the three phases only, which suits most three-phase distribution work.
Compliance
IP66 means dust-tight and proof against powerful water jets, which is why GRP is specified for hose-down positions. A switch-disconnector of this type provides the secure point of isolation needed before work starts on a circuit, which is why the door interlock matters as much as the current rating.
