The ISW165N is the socket half of a 16A 415V IEC 60309 connection, moulded for trailing use and rated dust-tight, watertight IP67. Fitted to flexible cable it gives a properly earthed, correctly keyed outlet at the point of use, with none of the improvisation that makeshift adaptors invite.
