Product details
The Europa Saturn SAT-IS204 is a 20A four-pole rotary isolator in an insulated IP66 enclosure, sized for the smaller fixed plant that still needs its own point of isolation. Local isolation is what keeps maintenance work honest: instead of walking back to a distribution board in another part of the building, the engineer switches off at the machine and can see the device that controls the circuit they are working on.
Key features
- Four poles, so all three lines and the neutral of a three-phase circuit are broken in one operation
- 20A rating for small motors, fans, pumps and fixed appliances
- Insulated enclosure rated IP66: dust-tight and protected against powerful water jets
- Enclosed, ready-to-mount unit, so there is no panel to build or fit out
- Part of Europa's Saturn isolator range, supplied genuine and trade-direct
Typical applications
Extract and supply fans, small circulating pumps, workshop and bench machinery, roller shutters, small compressors and outdoor fixed equipment. The IP66 rating makes it equally at home on an external wall, in a plant room, or in a washdown area such as a food room, car wash or agricultural building.
Compliance
IP66 means the enclosure keeps dust out entirely and withstands powerful water jets, so it can be mounted outdoors or hosed down in service. Choose a rating at or above the design current of the circuit and install to BS 7671.
