Product details
The Europa LBDC162P is a two-pole DC isolator rated 16A at 800V DC, housed in an IP66 enclosure so it can be fitted outdoors alongside the array or the inverter. A photovoltaic string cannot be switched off at source: while there is daylight on the modules it keeps generating, so the only way to make the DC side safe for maintenance, fault-finding or an emergency shutdown is a switch built for DC duty.
