This GRP backplate is the drop-in mounting plate for the Europa ATLAS ATLAS-806030/P enclosure (600 x 800 x 300 mm external). Where a galvanised steel plate would eventually bloom in a chlorine store, a dairy or a coastal kiosk, glass-reinforced polyester simply does not corrode, and because it is non-conductive it keeps the assembly consistent with the double-insulated ATLAS body. Drill it for DIN rail, gear plates and trunking exactly as you would a steel plate.
